DESCRIPTION: This new Design/Build parking structure is located on Stadium Road on the West side of the campus. This six level garage consists of slab on grade parking with five levels of precast concrete tees. There are four bays of tees spanning 55 feet in the north-south direction. The total length of the garage is approximately 350 feet providing nearly 440,000 total square footage. Currently there are slightly over 1,500 parking spaces available in the garage. Macchi Engineers was responsible for the civil design, layout, operational plan, schematic design, RFP, structural threshold review, and duties relating to Owner’s Representative including full-time, on-site construction administration and inspection.
