GROSS AREA: 91,000 SF New Additions and Renovations
DESCRIPTION: Macchi Engineers performed the structural and civil design for 91,000 SF of new construction and renovations. The new construction consists of a new 38,000 SF two-story library, 20,500 SF of general purpose classrooms, approximately 32,500 SF of two-story laboratory spaces for science and technology, and one-story connecting corridor. Provided the construction administration and inspection services. Site/civil engineering includes a significant amount of utility relocation work, and coordination of site-related subconsultant services for survey, traffic, subsurface investigations and geo-technical. Also responsible for ACOE, and DEP (water management, and inland water resources) permitting, traffic impact studies, and STC permitting.
