Macchi Engineers is responsible for the special inspection, construction administration, and construction inspection services for the construction of a new 3,400 linear foot boardwalk on a timber pile foundation that includes a gravel access road, two creek crossings and removal of any existing debris. Special inspection services include supervise inspection services, review material certifications and field test reports, inspect pile driving operations on a full time basis, maintain logs, conduct site visits and keep records of all inspections. Construction inspection and administration includes providing manpower as needed by the DPW. Conduct on-site inspections and monitor work in progress, keep daily diary to record all construction activities.
