DESCRIPTION: Macchi Engineers provided the civil design services for the complete reconstruction of the main campus drive at Eastern Connecticut State University including a new storm drainage system, utility coordination and roadway lighting. Additional site elements included the construction of two large parking areas and the reconstruction of two intersections. In addition, a storm drainage master plan for the entire campus was developed and included a detention basin designed to control the increase in runoff and reduce sedimentation of the nearby wetlands.
