Macchi Engineers performed the structural and civil design for a new one-story, steel-framed building approximately 30 ft high and renovations to existing six-story concrete building. Renovations to the existing structure included chases down through the building to accommodate cabling for new antennas and installation of steel frames on roof of the existing building. Civil/site design included parking lot redesign, new walks, drainage, utilities, access controls including gates, and iron fencing with an historical appearance to compliment the aesthetics’ of the surrounding neighborhood. Project also included construction administration and special inspection services.
